A content man is the happiest man who never knows it
But perhaps he never should
For the content man is the middle man
Not the worst
Nor the best
Which makes him the only one
Who can truly be happiest
For when the dam breaks
As the water washes away the best of us
And carries the worst out to sea
Who is Left?
The content man is free
Observer of those who fail
Observer of those who succeed
Watcher and onlooker
The one who will always be
But never forgotten
Neither mightiest foe
Or courageous under dog
Can ever be rid of the content one
Forever shall he be
Forever shall he reign
