Inhale a breath like no other.
An air still, yet warm to the touch.
Rain in some spots, snow in others.
Still not overwhelming.
In fact comforting.
A slight incline comes into view with a ravishing maple tree with crimson red leaves.
You cease the need for oxygen, the need for almost anything.
Steps become quick but calculated strides.
Just to reach the shade, from the sun that once provided so much comfort.
Away from the paradise just meters in distance.
Alluring is its nature, as expected.
And never have things been more clear.
