The pretty face
never stood alone
but at home,
she sat in darkness,
awaiting the pain
that ate at her
to slowly drift away.

The blade she held
danced along her wrist.
She was never satisfied with herself and
she wanted nothing more than to feel nothing.;
As she drew another perfect straight line,
darkness overcame her
and she was happy.
