Tell me if you understand
How we can lose so much
Blood soaks freedom’s land
Air choking from death’s touch

We say we fight for rights
While taking theirs away
With the power of our might
We make night from day

Blackness in our soul
We are cowards, liars, thieves
Increasing is the death toll
Ignorant to their grief

All of us are hypocrites
We are demons in God’s name
We let Him take all hits
We point towards Him the blame

Sinners all are we
And death we deserve
He should have let us be
Satan we chose to serve

Instead he chose to save
His son laid down his life
Then rose he from the grave
Freed we are from strife

I bow my head and weep
For me he took it all
The price did not come cheap
So go I will at the call
