He gave me true lust

I loved His kisses and His touch

I held Him in secret

And it was our little game

We played like children

Meaningless promises

Blushing gazes

Every night a new adventure

He could have had me

A willingness no other possessed

Until my honesty turned to poison

And I became His yesterday

Spoken words meant nothing

The game was only that

But He played it too well

Now the violent end has come

He thinks He won

But the most harmful of all

Was the act I did myself,

Letting Him into my life
