Gone

I see you smile,

As you walk away,

Not knowing if,

You'll come back someday.

I feel the tears,

Fall down my face,

As I watch you go,

Through the curtains of lace.

I feel the pain,

Almost everyday,

And wish it would,

All go away.

I watch the news,

Wonder where you are,

Not knowing if,

You're near or far.

I got the call,

At half past noon,

It said that you,

Were coming home soon.

I miss you more,

And more each day,

I hope that you,

Won't come home that way.

When you got home,

I started to cry,

They said your plane,

Fell from the sky.

Now you're gone,

But I'll get through,

Even though there's only,

Memories of you.
