Poems
Apr 2015
walk a mile in my shoes
walk a mile in my shoes
there's a trip line at every step
you'll slip in the puddles
of the tears I've wept
walk a mile in my shoes
with soles that are worn thin
every little pebble
feels like a stone within
walk a mile in my shoes
every corner is a stubbing toe
feel the gravity's power
only then you'll know
