Sometimes the only payoff
For having any faith
Is when it's tested
Again and again, every day

I'm still comparing our pasts,
To our futures,
You might have wounds but,
They're my sutures

And we could be immortals
Just us,
Immortals,
Without loss

Immortals,
And no gain
Immortals,
With no pain
