I Never Wanted You

by gillian-cortez

I never wanted you I did fall a little but nothing more than that I liked the way you held my hand And I adore the nearness of you Our conversations never get old And you make me smile in ways I don't know But I know everything isn't what it is If you think you had me fooled Truth is...I never wanted you

Notes

I wrote this poem nearly 2 years ago about someone back in Senior year. He was the worst guy I ever met yet he gave me the worst heartbreak ever. Moved on from him, though.
