"Yesterday's Ghost"
It's the silence of the mind that causes
us all to talk as we sleep.
Sometimes the conversations end on a
happy note, sometimes we may weep.
Visions of the past appear without any
warning signs at all.
Kind of like invisible water in an aisle
that may cause many of us to fall.
There are times when the ghost appear
openly, choosing not to hide.
We're found to be kidding ourselves so
greatly thinking the ghost have died.
In the darkness of the soul's dungeons
many skeletons lay all about.
Creepily dragging the body deeper into
the ground without an easy way out.
