We're spinning down, falling
The petals on flowers like leaves from a tree
Always falling, always twirling.

Ashes on the water
There's a whisper in my mind
And voices I can't seem to find.

Spiders sway in a delicate breeze
The world catching fire tonight
Melting away the ice that is the core of our being.

We found the way to paradise
Somewhere over the farthest horizon
But the price we paid wasn't worth result.

You'd take my hand if you could
Whisper sweetly in my ear at night
And I would die in those arms
Finally feeling safe and secure.

The songs we'd sing are sticking
Choking in my throat with the taste
There's a scent of blood on the air
And all I wanted was you.

I would die a thousand ways
If I knew I would always awake in your arms
I'd give up forever for an hour
Give up eternity for your love
Somewhere beyond the horizons.
