They never said it would be easy.
Dived head first with my guard down,
Like a moth into the flame.
I wanted all of you to feel me;
So I burnt myself to the ground,
Just to hear you scream my name
One last time.

And I'd do it again,
and again and again-
Ignite myself for you, and darling
I'd feel no shame.
I'm a forest fire for your love.
And I'm burning
Everything I touch.
