Jul 2011
It happened sometime during the night,
when the black sky turned to dawn
and when you covered my eyes
because I was dizzy from the light;
everything fell away.

Promises made with India ink
leaked down your wrists
and stained your hallow hands.

There was a static in your skin
that mixed me up with you
in the right kind of wrong.

One time darling,
my heart cried domino
and I was deafened
by allure's sweet song.
