Walking Astray by Maggie Reeves

Can't I give It all away,

Walk astray,

And find my own path?

My own wrong path, with my own beating heart?

There is nothing wrong with being different,

and I have to tell myself that everyday.

Just scary and new,

It feels exciting to not care about what they say,

Everyday, Its my day.

Everyday is new.

Everyday i'm me.

Everyday is true.

I'm not pretending anymore.

I’m walking my own path.

I don’t want a beaten trail,

I’m walking away,

I'm walking astray.
