Often when I sit daydreaming of things
my mind wonders to more pleasant thoughts
I think of bright sunny mornings
slowly awakening to a pleasing sensation
Of a crackling, sizzling sound
Of a mouth-watering, savory smell
Of a crumbling and crunching
Of my hearts one desire - bacon!
One taste and I'm flying above the clouds
Toward the brightness of the sun
My mind is filled with a song
And tales of treasures of old
But sadly these memories are all that remain
As I sit eating my brussel sprouts plain!
