Beginning of it all!
Don’t say
that I never noticed your beauty
I'd say
that it made me nervous your beauty
was so incredibly close
Is your heart waiting for the taking
and the weight of it all?
Is time still ticking
am I still missing possibilities lost
with the clock on the wall?
You'd say
that you barely knew me
my beauty
was something I rarely showed
I'd say
I tried to see through you,
Your beauty was something I never owed
Is your heart aching
For the taking?
And now I’m singing
That I know to be there
When and where
I know what’s to be said
I said out loud, I never said
My premonition of the world comes to me
That you said you don’t have to speak
I can hear you
But I can’t feel all the things you’ve ever felt before
You said it’s been a long time
Since someone looked at me that way
It’s like you knew me
And all the things I couldn’t say
Together, to be
Together and be
Together, to be
Together and be
