I'm done writing poems about you.
I don't want to rewrite them.
I just want to put them in a cardboard box
put your name on the side in thick sharpie
and push it to the back of my closet
and move on
and forget.
Eventually, be happy with what happened with us.
But not right now.
Not at this moment
because it tastes bitter.
and I'm remembering things that make me feel empty.
