Timeless and Tiresome

We were playing a strange game

this old man and I

the coin in the middle of the table

we stared at it

we stared at each other

he slammed his fist down

the coin flipped into the air

when it touched back down

I did the same

then it was his turn

he screamed something unsettling

and it was my turn and i laughed

unfortunately this went on

forever
