The Canonical Monster
It is raised a corpulent Spirit,
dangling it legs suggestively,
over the abyss of national identity,
an ideological state apparatus, BANG!
Mind the gap of danger when boarding and alighting trains.
Blake, Althusser, Cuchulainn, the Oxford Comma, and Me.
