I will ask you now as I would ask you then: at whose expense
You are setting fires across an expanse that only you see in grey
And still to you I believe this is the only orange horizon worthy of awe

I should know better than to ask you about the things that burn here instead
The way you look at me, I trust that the day is fast approaching where you ask me to swallow the gasoline too
