Wooden walls or heart chambers
Door frames or your mouth
Ribcages or staircases
These empty chairs like my collarbones.
Now I'm breathing in this dusty air
Instead of your honeysuckle kiss.
I know better than one should
That you can be more homesick for a person
Than for a house.
