Yours

Yours is the heart I listen to

For it buzzes and circulates

With the deep blue inside of you

Oh how I would love to—

I’d tuck away your touch and such

In the back of my curious mind

Letting it grow in suspension

With every mention

Of the great unexplained feeling

Constantly skipping rope with me

And the strands of hair on my skin

Oh, you’re a mojo pin

The kind who moved inside of me

Beside the beating of my heart

Initially filling the space

Pushing it out of place
