Oh, I remember
when I first looked upon you.
You were like no one
Oh, I could have ever seen.
The wild heart in your eyes
Oh, took my very heart with those eyes
and melted that poor
helpless creature.
Oh, you had such a rare
unbridaled  passion.
Oh, how you opened you heart
took me into your arms
and kissed me with a passion
that seemed to never end.
Oh, dance of love
wild night of passion.
And oh, my sorrow when you went
in the full light of day.
I awoke and you were
not by my side.
Oh, I searched ever and ever
just a gaze into those lovely wild eyes
from street to street
and town to town
with heave heart
and bleeding soul
and at night I searched
for you in my dreams
and found you
and kissed you
with a passion beyond all passion
never willing to let you go.
Then one day I heard a piper piping.
Oh, the sound seemed to dance in the air
as though doves
with rainbow colored wings fluttered by.
Oh, a great troop of pipers piping
and singers singing.
Music to fill the heights of heaven
as though heaven were emptied
and all the angels come to earth
just to sing those lovely songs
and then your lovely wild eyes.
Oh, they carried you as they walked by.
You saw me and stopped on your way.
Oh, you said, " Young man I know you
far your fame reaches far and wide.
Oh, they say your sweet voice
puts the angels to shame.
Oh, come with me and ride
and you will never know
fear ,nor  hunger, nor want.
And I can hear a sound
sweeter than the angels when they sing."
Oh, how your wild eyes  drew me in
and drew me on.
Oh, I sung the songs
that made the angels cry.
Oh, how I poured out my soul
drained to the final drop.
blood and life
out of the depths of my soul
and oh, how your sweet arms embraced me
with a passion and love
that would put all the world's lovers to shame.
Oh, such a passionate struggle
that would blush the most jaded cheek.
Oh, how I thought that paradise of love
it would never end.
Oh, those angry words
the jealousy for the songs I sung.
The songs that would put the angels to shame.
And oh, such a stormy desperate night
as a man lost his life.
Oh, those who saw me
swore me to that very place and time.
"Oh, tell us where you were
in that dark stormy night
that would make the world seem to end."
Oh, I opened not my mouth
and said not a word
though to would mean
my beating heart would be forever stilled
and my life would be no more
foe I had been in your arms
my dear sweet love.
Oh, you are my very life
my reason for being
on this dark forsaken earth.
Oh, how your beauty
and the passion of your love
puts the angels to shame.
Oh, how could I let them
know your shame
to love such as I
a poor worthless thing.
Oh, my sadness
Oh, my despair
how you put
such flowers on my grave.
Oh, you visit me
in the midnight hour
as the night winds blow.
You call my name
and from your heart
Oh, such tears that flow.
Oh, the knife you stab in my soul.
Why do you hurt me so?
Don't you know
my love for you
no tongue can tell.
