Jan 2010
An itch you cannot scratch,
Gnaws at your flesh
And tears your insides.
A parasite that lingers on
After any hope is gone
Every little exploit dies,
Breeds and lies,
Recaptivates you like a fool,
An everlasting bitter song
Which slays the need to carry on.
