Speculation is his only friend.
Trust, he does not reply.
Reasons he will deny.
Hypocrisy of which he thrives.
To identify a flaw is his only drive.
Anger, which coincides.
The bruises,
No, she always lies.

Alone, she sits inside.
Still wondering why she cries.
The mirror no longer smiles.
She looks up at the ceiling tiles.
For once, she knows whats right.
She appreciates the rope now, tight.
She lets out a final sigh of relief.
Releasing her heart from grief.

His knees greet the ground in dismay.
He will be a better man.
Just give him one more day.
Just give him another chance.
He will work it out,
He will change.
He promises.
His plea echoes far.
But to her demise,
Only death replies.
