Never have I had so much to lose,
than what I have in having you.
Just a faucet, were I a rose;
Just a warm kiss, were I a frozen nose.
Just two hands, were I to tell time;
Just my keeper, if I'm to be a 'mine.'
Just a ribbon to hold me, were I a curl;
Just my whole world, were I just a girl.
