A flower grows
When love is present
With soft, beautiful petals
That flower is now wilting
Delicate petals curl and dry
The vibrant colours turn subtle
Its stem bends in melancholy
And its leaves turn from green to brown
A flower can only grow
When love is present
But for tonight
And more nights to come
Love will not be there
