On cool nights, when the skies are clear
And stars afar seem bright and near
I look and see Orion's belt
Whose owner's protection long I've felt
My silent protector hangs high above
And I ask him politely to protect what I love
He doesn't reply but I trust him
To protect what I love 'til the dark grows dim
