Emotional Brute

I wish my words Sparked like BLUE fire. Seen as Embers carried By the wind. I wish my words Streamed Powerfully and Fluidly Like a waterfall. I know the drops of a sweet potion Dangle At the Jagged-edge of my lips. But when I try to summon them An uninvited visitor appears and Only Silence comes out. The Brute of me tries to compensate And only dry words Cascade sand from my mouth. I wish emotions were Easier to express. But how to explain color To a human born blind? Forgive me, then, But my love for you Is my only art. As I can almost hug The sky.
