Slowly scratching at my skull
Like claws on a cat
Like a spoon on a bowl
I'm trying; but I don't know how much longer I can take this pain.

Will this dark tunnel ever end?
Will I ever see the light again?
The monsters are relentless-
Sleep isn't even an option.

Slowly scratching at my skull
like nails on a chalkboard
Like a fork on a plate
I'm trying; but I don't know how much longer I can take this pain.

It's gotten so dark- i can't see!
And of the light; I have no memory!
The monsters have gotten to deep.

Slowly scratching at my skull
Like a needle on metal
Like a chair on the floor.

I'm gone
Nothing more.
Nothing more than the dark
The monsters have took me away, oh so far.

Slowly scratching at my skull...
it's about sleeping
