Apr 2011
there is a simple existence,
when there’s no
strife
and
no loathing,
when you’re not afraid
of the mirror
and willing to love
and to
fail

in simple terms,
I have reached this
existence

where I can laugh
about tragedy
and care about
pointless things

with love,
of myself
and
of another,
I have opened up
to a new a
life

a simpler life

this is my first day here
and the sunshine burns
through the storm clouds
above my shattered old
home
