Lovers, Wait.

Lovers wait. In their perfect world They would be A loving mark on forever They without She Blue eyes met green A smile toward her A conversation in their hearts Two lovers unsure A sweet stolen embrace A kiss on the cheek Unspoken heartache Want reaching its peak Tender, Innocent words Fingers laced strong Wait for her, One year too long The need in their beings But relationships in place Sweet whispers of romance Star crossed lovers face to face The perfect gentlemen, to that beautiful teen Inside beats the rush of love Longing souls, a conscience in between Rid themselves of He and She They only pass days Until time reaches their goal Because in her, his heart stays When he dreams of her, She braids flowers in her hair Law has no meaning here He will wake, to a world unfair The pages of calendars fall As he counts the days in his room Although their day comes in winter, Their awaited love will bloom The fateful December day She waits for her heart He finds her stare Today their time will start He gathers her to him Her face against his chest Nervous lips finally meet And their longing put to rest
