She became a rock star in Austin
(Go go!)
She was once my best friend
She toured the world in fame she became lost in

The #1 girl band in the land
She became rich and ******
Being on covers on magazines
Was her hobby

I once nurtured Her talent
I protected her so valiant
She rose above all the ladies
Back in the 1980's

I tried to pay her a visit
To see if she might want to record for release
Instead she warned me she would call the police

It all went to her red head
We used to sleep in her bed
What goes up must come down
I look but I don't see her around...
