Honestly Ugly

I look at what others create

And if I'm to be quite honest

There is little there I can appreciate

All I see are children and sages

Leaving my intellect yawning

or befuddled in mazes

Jealousy and pride

Have walled me in

But it's alright

Because my own elegance

Brightens the night.
