For let the wind whistle,
or let the grass shift;
let you be malicious or omniscient:
upon a flicker of thou brow,
you would never be obliterated.
My heart was sworn to shackles,
chained;now thrashing
pained;now objecting
tortured;yet silent
It was a conquering world:
soiled and weary; with one ruler
it was ruthless; for LOVE brings upon war,
It looked down on all ; love did
