You can measure every word I say
Never feel medium and in the way
I can be the light that brightens your rain
Always awake and so very aware of the pain
With the sound of your soul illuminating the shade
I might crumble and fall to the ground to fade
With every step I take the shackles fall off my stained brain
Perplexed and bewildered knowing that through my scars my love won't faint
