Tonight I’m giving you a thousand tears on a plate of love,
Look closely, because you never seen anything like this before,
Maybe you can hang them somewhere on the wall,
Watch them as they proudly fall on the floor.

Don't confuse them with pearls, so white and pure,
'Cause they are full of darkness, I can tell you for sure,
Made of unsaid words and unfinished thought,
Like that song I once heard and instantly forgot.

It wasn’t so hard, but it took me some time,
To make them so perfect, and round and divine,
And clear like a water, so you can perfectly see,
Every single thing that hides inside of me.

And all the things you said, and all the things I said,
And all the music we listened while we were in your bed,
And all those moments we shared, and those that we did not,
All the memories that are left from you that I thought I forgot.

Remember that time I used to call you mine,
But you were never mine, you always had someone else on the side,
And I could look the other way, and I could stay,
But I think it’s mad to love someone who acts that way.

No matter how hard I tried, you always left me behind,
And kicked me and threw me on the floor with your pride,
And not only with pride, but also with anger and hate,
Doing everything you can to see me brake.

Time passes by, and I’m still a fool for you,
My love is as deep as an ocean blue,
And all the words wise man wrote long time ago,
In those words I find you when I don’t have anywhere else to go.

I wish you the best, for the very last
words of this thing that’s not a poem, but a mess,
And I know for sure, even we are apart,
I will carry you deep within of my poor broken heart.
