I have loved
My heart has always
gone out to You
I have stood at the foot of Your bed
and watched You sleep
and always I have loved You
You have never known Me
nor cared
but You have always been
the center of My world
I see You as You walk by
and My heart sinks
for I love You.
I die a little every day
When I awake in the morning
and You are not by My side.
you are life to Me
for I cannot live without You
and You will be My death
because it is killing Me inside
that You neither know Me
nor care
please bury Me
in the darkness
at the midnight hour
far from the light of day
and write upon My tombstone
" Here lies a sad and lonely man
who had a love as deep as the sea
who shall lie here evermore
unloved and unwanted
in this cold and lonely grave".
