I have this route memorized
The twists and turns of the road
Play over in my mind, from the
Many times I have traveled this before
The shadow of all doubts
Lay behind in my wake
While the road to happiness always seems to change
The road to trouble, always leads the same way
First a turn, then a twist
Then a beer, then a kiss
The numbness over-powers me
Memories fade to black,
I don't remember what I did
Maybe thats the reason why
I always come back- or maybe
The twists and turns of this road
Lead me to be free, of this routine
Every day reality
