Dear Star,

I cannot articulate The number of causes we drifted away Some things remain unexplained. Every sea has it’s storm The moon waxes, and tides wave. There is a reason we have seasons The Earth is titled at a 23.5 Degree We cycle through our Yearly journey Passing through different sensations and feelings. Most things are unpredictable. At least we have the constant constellations; Hercules and Orion, Leo the Lion. Reminders of Inner Strength Look Outside Yourself And into the sky. The constellations Shape The lines we trace Map out the way We Are Made. The future is uncertain. Do not lose faith. The darkest skies And New Moon, Bring the most Dazzling Stars Into View. Our magnitude Is Brighter than Sirius, Vega, and Arcturus. All the stars combined Could never out-shine The incandescent light you are. Dear Beautiful Star, Stay close by my side. No matter how I far I go, Help me know I am never alone. Though independently we shine, We all rest together in the sky.
