Oh honey,
you've fallen so hard
in the heather

and you've skinned
your peach-
**** knees

and you've closed
your eyes
to the sun that
shines

and the labyrinth
pattern of
the bees

You've fallen
into fits
of promise

fits of
frozen
winter snow

in the corner
of your
high-walled
maze

where the wind
can't even blow.
