Looking Down

And so it was done, the smoke had blinded everyone; the fire was long gone. Days, weeks, months went by. Dodging watchful eyes made him want to run. So he looked down, along with everyone— Everyone is looking down. Of course it was bad timing, contracts full of signing, and you. It all looks the same until it fades; so he looks down, with everyone.
