Though You ever hurt Me
I only love You more
love beyond reason
the other half of My soul
Oh, I remember how
we once walked hand in hand
Oh, how You are a stabbing
painful knife in My heart
yet I love You evermore still
Oh, deep inside My heart
My soul cries out in pain
how it bleeds for You
for if without You I belong not
then no place in this world can I call home
Oh, You are life for Me
and without You
only a living and walking death remains
Oh, love for You flows in My veins
without You My veins are but day and hollow
and My life is as day and lifeless
as the bones of a skull
that has lain in a desert a thousand years
only Your love can bring Me back to life
and return My heart to beating
My love for You is pure
as a wine aged centuries old
Oh, I would suffer
a pain wracked body for You My love
impaled upon a stake of pine
as My blood flows down to the ground
and stains  the wood scarlet red
for You I would drain
every drop of blood
from My veins
till they are all hollow
and dusty dry
without You let Me lie
in a small and narrow box so dark
entombed in the icy ground
as its cold chill stills
the blood in My veins
a cold and dark thing
that once had heart and mind
who once had hope of love
and heaven's bright shore
but who now lies forever
in this cold icy ground
a lone icy hell
separated from your love
forever and evermore
