Jan 2015
Lined up, filed, on the shelf
Sealed and tucked away
Frozen fragments, stolen moments
Please don't fade away
Please don't go up in flames
Please don't go down in floods
Stay

Here with me to look at and once again see
Tiny hands, innocent eyes, lips - juicy
Full face, rosy cheeks, legs that I could eat
Looking at me, loving me
Holding you, my smile - your smile
Love

Now I sit with you caught in these moments
Us together, happy, so young - naive
You are not here now
You are not with me
You are at another house, another home
With pictures just like these
Life

Where we could have been
The places a different pairing could have seen
You live in your two worlds
I live in mine
It will never be the same
Time
