My Air

I spend my time waiting by the phone In my room, in the dark, alone Waiting to hear my favorite sound, Your voice, so I'll just lay around I spend my days dreaming the sun away Waiting for that one more chance to say, "I miss you, come and hold my hand" Beach-bound, we'll play in the sand I use all of my charm and guile Finding new ways to may you smile But if your tears come anyway, I swear I'll wipe your fears away How many ways can I find To say the words on my mind? "I love you", "I want you here with me", I'd walk a thousand miles for you, you'll see I'm cliff-diving with no water below Rushing towards the ground, I know But the air I'm falling through is you, I close my eyes, maybe dreams come true
