Mar 2011
I was born a magnet
Capable of ******* shrapnel shards
Out of the aching bodies around me
Heat-seeking pain pieces reach me with a purpose
To be transformed into tolerable troubles
Eased by a new outlook and positive spin
Stories need to be told, so strongly so
That at times they burst out unplanned
I carry them like Giles Corey
Demanding more weight
For other’s sake
Lives can be changed if you set out
With the conscious ambition to do so
