I followed the tide
Into the sea
And now I feel
Her tug on me.

I followed the tide
For want of her feel,
Of soft frothy foam
And currents warm,
And feel her I do,
Tugging on me.

I followed the tide
When she was in,
In her I played,
As sun traversed sky
In her I stayed.

I followed the tide,
To bring her back
And now I'm with her,
In the black.
