I died.
I died once I was born unto this world.
I died when I started to understand.
I died when I learned how to talk.

I die every time I leave the house.
I die when I drive.
I die when I go to different places.
I die when I see things.

Please, help.
Please, have some mercy.
Please, don't give up.
Please, I Still Love Your Chaotic World.

Little baby does not know what he was gotten into.
Little baby with thoughts so pure,
thoughts which include the world being a safe place,
that happiness and safety will be found wherever he goes.
Little baby was naïve and carefree.
Enveloped in happiness and laughter,
Little baby was not aware that his world was just
one of the thousands more out there.

Little baby grew up; he was now aware of sadness.
Sadness which was once so foreign to him now became
well acquainted with him.
Baby found out about the concept of war.
Baby never felt safe anymore.

I no longer feel safe in a world full of dispute

Poor man did not know what he was walking himself into.
Poor man did not know he was walking towards his own casket.

My skin kept the things my eyes cannot;
underneath my skin are my secrets and thoughts,
my lungs and my heart,
my blood and my veins and my bones.
my skin conceals the rapid beating of my heart,
the rush of my blood,
the weakening of my bones.
it conceals just some of the things that I experience every time my eyes interlock with yours.
however, my eyes, darling, they cannot do what my skin can.
they exhibit the feelings I have, feelings which I do not want to acknowledge, for all to see.
all including you.
darling, you looked at my eyes and saw my feelings,
the things that I suppressed,
you saw the feelings which you knew were for you.
