In the dark pit
where many dread
Is yet apt for solemn encounters
Where you and your thought
Engage in a holy discourse
While you undertake a solemn prayer
A chat with the owner of life
Reviving the soul
And preparing the being
For an even finer travel of life
Exodus from the deep
Onto the surface once again
Singing love songs
Melody from a fulfilling heart

And when you have squeezed their breath
And emptied their land
When blood becomes a voice
And sculls a shaky falsetto
What remains
Rubbles
That speak to say
Where art thy subject

When the delay widens the pit
And more souls disperse
A clear heart
Is the final victor
Yet
Lost souls
Lost empire

Dear God
I have inscribed my little beginnings upon the lines
The journey may seem long
And my vision blurred
But I know
Yes I know
That not long
I will be the same scribe
That will pen down the sweet remains of the remaining journey
In you I trust
And my testimony is sure
Inspired by my dear friend

I have laid aside my burdens
I have put aside my worries
The turbulence in my mind
And the endless confusion
I have emptied them all

Now I have come to you
I am before you my King
Here I am my Lord

I made you too small
I went too far
Seeking happiness from far places
I kept running
Chasing life
And ended up too far from you
Could not see
Could not hear
My mind was turning and turning

Then I turned to you my Lord
Jesus you saved me
