Almost Lovers
We were almost lovers,
And now we are just strangers
Don't say that things will get better
I know we will never be together

No matter how much time has gone by
There is not a day I don't cry
I lie to the world that I'm fine
What you've seen are just broken smiles

Your blue eyes are what I miss
As well as them gentle kiss
I remembered myself so bliss
I shall never forget this

Every single night I pray
That this pain will fade away
But I never once pass a day
Without my night becoming so gray

I'm trying hard to love you less
Though this really does depress
Almost lover, I have to confess
You are the only one I want to possess

You are everywhere I go
I feel your breath when the wind blows
Without you, time is so slow
In my wrecked heart, it snows

Almost lover, you have me
Even though you cannot see
Whoever, however you want me to be
it's the fortune, I can't flee

The Young Sailor
Sail, I sail on a flowing river
Where this will take me, I wonder
Folks think I am naive and young
Like spring blossoms not yet sprung

Sail, I sail on running streams
Trying to fulfill my dreams:
Of living somewhere I belong,
And be the one who is wise and strong

Sail, I sail and see two waterways
Shall I go through this one which might take days?
This side of water rushes real fast
With those rocks, making it harder to be passed

Sail, I sail and see the river divides
One of them has those calm tides
Besides its tranquil surface
There is also no need to race

Sail, I sail with adventurous mind to the first
As I know this cannot be reversed
Call me ignorant, foolish, young
With high hopes, I shall soon be sprung!

Unawareness
We never know what love might bring
Could be a storm or a day in the spring?
“My true love, you are so rare”
Oh! It is love, I was not aware

Nothing lasts forever, so they say
I realized, the day you went away
In the end wishing I had a clue
That this love would make me so blue
